Need one chapter, one invoice or one form from a long PDF? Type its page numbers and download only those pages as a new file.
How to use the Extract PDF Pages
- Upload your PDF.
- Type the pages to extract, such as 4-9.
- Download your new PDF.
What to expect
A smaller file to share
Send only the pages someone needs, rather than the whole document.
Original page order
Pages stay in the same order as the original, however you type them.
Same quality
Pages are copied as they are, so nothing gets blurrier.
Common reasons to extract pages
- Sending one statement from a year's worth of bank PDFs.
- Sharing a chapter of your notes with a classmate.
- Getting under an upload limit by leaving out extra pages.
Examples of what to type
| You type | New PDF contains |
|---|---|
| 5 | Page 5 only |
| 2-4 | Pages 2, 3 and 4 |
| 1, 8-10 | Pages 1, 8, 9 and 10 |
| 10, 1 | Pages 1 and 10, in that original order |
Getting a smaller file
An extracted file only keeps what its pages use, so it's usually much smaller than the original. If it's still too large to send, use Compress PDF. To join your new file to others, use Merge PDF.
