How to use the Split PDF

  1. Upload your PDF.
  2. Type the pages you want, such as 1-3, 7, or leave the box empty for every page.
  3. Download your new PDF, or a ZIP file of separate pages.

What to expect

Pick any pages

Use commas and dashes, such as 1-3, 7. Pages follow the order you type, so 5, 1 puts page 5 first.

Or every page

Leave the box empty and each page becomes its own PDF, and they download together in a ZIP file.

Your original stays the same

This makes new files. The PDF on your device isn't changed.

When splitting a PDF helps

Other tools you may need

To join your new file with others, use Merge PDF. To make it lighter, use Compress PDF. If you need a page as a picture, use PDF to JPG.

If the page box shows an error

Use commas and dashes, such as 1-3, 7. Spaces don't matter, and each number must be a page in your file. A range must go from low to high, so 3-1 isn't accepted, though you can type 3, 2, 1 to reverse those pages.

When every page becomes its own PDF, they're packed into one ZIP file so you only have one download.
